Stephenie Meyer Mentions Rob and Kristen with MTV and Talks About BD2 Extra Scene

MTV: Kellan Lutz recently said there's a special bonus scene during the credits. What can you say about that?
Meyer: That's actually incorrect. What they've been talking about will be in DVD extras I assume but it's not in the credits. There is no extra scene.
MTV: Of course the fans are very excited to see Kristen's interpretation of Bella as a vampire at last.
Meyer: It's subtle and yet kind of amazing. She's very self-possessed the way she holds herself. She's a completely different kind of character.
MTV: Meanwhile Robert Pattinson has been describing the vampire sex in the film as "ridiculous" in recent interviews.
Meyer: Yeah I saw that. I think he was talking about how it was so hard to keep a straight face [during that scene]. For the actors, there are 40 people in the room and most of them are inches away from you. It's a kind of awkward menage-a-forty going on. I think when you see the scene it's a testament to their acting ability that you don't see any of that in that moment at all.

Kristen Stewart is thrilled to be attending the Toronto International Film Festival, but don't let her catch you throwing around the event's acronym in casual conversation: when MTV News caught up with the actress shortly after the screening of her new film, "On the Road," she couldn't help ribbing Josh Horowitz for asking if she was enjoying her "TIFF".
"TIFF? 'How's your TIFF going,' that's what you said," she teased. "But it's good, it's good. Last time I was here for 'Into the Wild,' and I don't think I've been back since, so it's fun."

Rob Pattinson talks with josh ‘Mission: Blacklist’ shooting in Iraq – “beautiful, stunning palaces look like Kubrick sets”
Get More: Movie Trailers, Movies Blog
Robert Pattinson sat down with MTV a couple of weeks ago to promote his current film, Cosmopolis. During the interview, he discussed his future films and Mission: Blacklist was mentioned.
In case you can’t see the video, here’s the transcript of the section discussing Mission: Blacklist:
Josh Horowitz: That’s the word, that you may be shooting this film in Iraq. Are you looking forward to that? Is that the plan?Robert Pattinson: The director is there now and I want to do it there. Obviously it’s quite difficult to shoot there. I think it’s a fascinating country. The director has been sending me pictures of the actual palaces where the US army was based and they’re beautiful. Just stunning. They look like Kubrick sets and they’re all empty just sitting there.

Josh Hutcherson Talks About His Friendship with Kristen with MTV
“The Hunger Games” and “Twilight” collided over the weekend at the2012 MTV Movie Awards when Josh Hutcherson ran into his “Zathura” co-star backstage.
“I actually got to talk to Kristen Stewart tonight for the first time in five years, at least,” Hutcherson revealed to MTV News. “That was awesome to connect with her again, especially after everything that’s happened to the both of us [with 'Twilight' and 'The Hunger Games']. It’s nice to just kind of be able to talk again and hopefully have some sort of friendship. She’s fantastic.”
“Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ slayed the dystopian thriller out of the Best Kiss and Movie of the Year awards, but the actor promised there are no hard feelings between the two franchises.
“Honestly, you know what? I’ve never really felt it to be a competition. And I wish I could pretend like it was ’cause it’d be fun, [but] it’s so not. Their cast is fantastic, our cast is fantastic and there’s never been any bloodshed. … Not yet,” he teased.
