Finally, we’ve got news about On The Road‘s USA release date … and yes, it’s on the day the world is ‘supposed’ to end … DECEMBER 21, 2012. The author of The Beat Handbook, Rick Dale, confirmed this on a blog post saying,
So, I went directly to IFC Films and found that they list the U. S. release date as December 21, 2012 (that’s a Friday here in the U.S.).
I was lucky enough to watch OTR a few times while I was in Paris over
the summer, and I must say that you are all in for a treat! Its
definitely my favorite movie of the year, by far! Kristen’s performance
in it is spectacular as well as the rest of the cast!
