New Kristen Interview with Huffington Post

Kristen Stewart was not a global superstar when "Motorcycle Diaries" director Walter Salles cast her in his long-gestating adaptation of "On the Road." It was 2007 and she had just appeared in "Into the Wild," playing a trailer-park siren who almost but doesn't quite tame Emile Hirsch's wanderlust. It would be another year before she become known to millions of fans around the world as Bella Swan from "Twilight."
It would have been easy -- and maybe even prudent -- for Stewart to back out on Salles as her star inexorably rose, but she stayed on board and delivered a performance that is all the more powerful because it comes from a woman with so much to lose. Yes, Kristen takes off her clothes -- she talks about that below -- but that's not the half of it: her character, Marylou, the teenage bride of Beatnik hero Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund), may exist as a mere plot device in the testosterone-fueled novel, but at the hands of Salles and Stewart she becomes a symbol of unapologetic feminine self-gratification. As I wrote after seeing "On the Road" at the Toronto International Film Festival, "Stewart's Marylou is pure Id: she steals what she needs and she screws who she wants, when she wants." The point is not that she's admirable; it's that she comes alive, fully and indelibly, which is the only job an actor has.
The creative team behind the film wants the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to recognize Stewart for her role by nominating her for an Oscar for best supporting actress, and although she doesn't appear on any of the short lists I've seen, I think she's earned a place in the conversation. "On the Road" has its slow and meandering moments, but it roars to life when Stewart appears on screen -- and if you don't believe me, take a look at these fan-produced animated gifs and tell me you're not at least intrigued. Stewart and I spoke on the phone for about 20 minutes on Saturday/

New Kristen Interview with Vogue India

Through four books and five movies, a new cult was born -- Twihards they called themselves. Twilight fans watched their heroine Bella transform from a socially awkward teenager in love into a jaw-droppingly beautiful vampire mother, a transformation somewhat mirrored in real life where the teenage child star Kristen Stewart grew up into a bankable Hollwood star.
"I'm kinda tripping out [professionally], because I've always been in a position where I love films, and they don't have money, and I'm attached to them forever. I don't get to realize some of the parts that I would love to play. But now I can get projects off the ground; I can get them made,"Stewart says.
Now on the promotions trail for the last movie in the Twilight series – The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 – does she feel like there should have been more to the story?
On the contrary, "I’m so happy that the story is told," says Stewart. "We had five years. The fact that this thing is out and it’s not weighing on us anymore, I’m super excited about that. I don’t want it to sound like I’m excited to be done with the experience. It’s a feeling, and I will definitely miss that, but I feel like it’s not going anywhere. It is strange. But, things shouldn’t stay stagnant. You’ve got to move on.”
1. Have you ever been to India or plan to come soon?
I have never been to India but would love to visit in the future. I have heard the tradition and culture there is worth checking out.
2. Highest heels you’ve ever worn?
I have worn 6 inch high heels that are the highest yet!
3. Your go-to designer would be?
I don’t have a favourite designer. Anything that's beat up is good for me. I kind of like to look like a hobo.
4. Favourite Halloween costume?
My favorite Halloween costume is the Portman character costume, I just love it!

New Rob and Kristen Interview with BILD (Germany) + New Picture

Who sees them kissing on-screen sees: It's love. Who stands between them feels: There is a yo-yo love.
Their comments: No comment!
Only their hearts know the truth!
KRISTEN STEWART - she was 17, shy, stubborn, silent as the "Twilight" madness began.
ROBERT PATTINSON - then 22, a London model who lived in three bags. The buddy type, book worm, techie.
I met both five times - in five years.
And I've always asked about love!
The answers? Smiles, silence, shrugs. Later a yes.
First it was game, then PR, then hidden love, then separate love. And now?
The German premiere of the last part of the Twilight saga, "Breaking Dawn (release date: Thursday).
BILD: Are you happy that it's over?
Kristen (22): "I'm happy that the love story is told. I feel liberated and I am free, but I do miss it at the same time. "
BILD: What do you regret?
Robert (26): "There is a price, which you have to pay. You are 24 hours in the job, if you go out in public. "
Kristen: "You're trying to protect your life, but at the same time you also rob your life."
BILD: How do you escape from your fame?
Robert: "Fame is like a prison. But I have family and old friends, who are my real world. "
Kristen: "I have to build steel barriers around me. You get a very different view of life and people. You will be thrown out of your comfort zone, you're apprehensive. But this fear is also a welcome feeling when you grow up, want to explore the world! "
BILD: Your dreams and goals in life?
Robert: "I want to make a lot of films and get better."
Kristen: "I don't know what will happen in a year. I never know what to do before the decision is in front of me! "
He smiles. She yawns. When they look at each other, it clicks in their eyes.
In Berlin, Kristen and Robert went bowling in the evening.
The ball of love rolled.

More of Kristen's Interview with Speakeasy

Speakeasy recently chatted with the 22-year-old actress about her career after “Twilight” and her other new movie, an adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel “On the Road,” directed by Walter Salles and co-starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kirsten Dunst, among others.
Stewart said she first read “On the Road” when she was a freshman in high school and was taken with its cast of characters, many of whom are wild creative types, searching for inspiration, love and meaning. “And I read that and I was like ‘I need to find people like that. I need to find people that I want to run after,’”she said. “I think that it’s rare, those people aren’t very common.”
The novel, Stewart said, still resonated with her as an adult. She said she was drawn to people who had a youthful exuberance, no matter how old they were.
“Most of the people that I want to run after that I really admire, they don’t lose that, I mean, they’re not all my age, they’re a lot older than me,”Stewart said. “It starts when you’re young, but as soon as you view that as like a youthful thing, what have you done with your life? Do you know what I mean? You should probably hold on to that.”

New Rob and Kristen Interviews in 15 a 20 Magazine (Scans+ Translation)
Rob
Our encounter with Rob was very exciting. When he arrived to the Four Seasons hotel room, the handsome Brit was dressed casually wearing his signature jeans, white tee and baseball cap. He seemed relaxed, but we had to get to our interview immediately because we didn’t have much time.
Has Edward evolved in this final movie?
He’s definitely more relaxed than in Breaking Dawn Part 2, but as soon as Bella becomes a vampire, he loses balance. Everyting is new again. He never really understod her before, and now she’s his equal, and even then he still doesn’t get her. She’s stronger than him and she’s completely umpredictable. She’s the hyper version of who she was before. He’s trying to decipher her, and in a way it makes him seem younger. He’s very excited.
What’s it like for a man to meet a very strong woman?
In general?? (laughs)
On and offscreen, what’s your experience been like?
Everybody can be strong, it just depends who you are. I react to certain things because I’m too sensitive and I never want to offend anybody. I find it fascinating when there’s someone who’s not afraid to express their views out loud, not caring what other people say.

Kristen Stewart: Re-Emerging And Returning
Kristen Stewart is re-emerging. Slowly but surely returning to public life after an over-analysed and over-invested-in scandal that has consumed the attentions and conjectures of countless outlets, industry observers, social media users, fans and even a T-shirt retailer.
Always a polarizing actress, never were the latent feelings of so many expressed so vociferously after U.S Weekly’s publication of those photographs.
The extraordinary heat they generated, now somewhat lessened, will likely reignite when Stewart walks the red carpet at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival on September 6 in support of her film — the Walter Salles directed On The Road.
Adapted from Jack Kerouac’s classic beat novel, when On The Road was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, Stewart’s portrayal of the free-spirited ‘Marylou’ was hailed a standout performance.
“Oh my god, I f*g love it [acting] so much. I’m not Marylou; I’m Sal,” said Stewart.
“Right now, I feel so full. I’m, like, bursting. I should be working. I don’t want to take a break. It’s funny, on set, I don’t have to go to the bathroom, I don’t have anything wrong, I’m perfectly fine, so through-and-through. I’m not hungry. I’m literally not even in my own body. They wrap and they send me back to my trailer and I f*g fall to pieces..

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH LATIMES/24FRAMES
24 Frames The exploits of Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady were first described in “On the Road,” Kerouac’s autobiographical novel featuring alter-egos Sal Paradise and Dean Moriarty, more than a half-century ago.
But the stars of the book’s first-ever film adaptation say they believe the Beat bible resonates as much as ever, and that it has coursed through their lives in unexpected ways.
“I read it at 14 or 15 and I was touched. I said ‘I need to find people that push me like this. I want to find people in my life that I want to run after,” Stewart, who costars with Garrett Hedlund (Moriarty) and Sam Riley (Sal Paradise), told 24 Frames.
At a rooftop restaurant Thursday morning, Stewart was still taking it all in. Dressed in a sleeveless leather top and sneaking in a quick snack of restaurant rolls, the actress was reflecting on perhaps her most prestigious role to date, as well as her first trip to often chaotic Cannes. “I’m a pretty nervous person, but for some reason I feel comfortable here,” she said..
Hedlund did Stewart’s Cannes virginity one better — before this trip, the Minnesota native had never been to France. Smoking a cigarette alongside Stewart and Riley, the 27-year-old said he was similarly moved by Kerouac, noting that it echoed through the generations because the feeling it captures hasn’t changed.
Stewart acknowledged that “On the Road” made her want to take on other real-life stories. (She also previously played Joan Jett in the femme-rocker biopic “The Runaways”)
“You wonder a lot more about the whys” with a real-life tale, she said. “And we had such an emotional responsibility to these people. They became our family, which is so much more driving.”
She said that in incarnating Marylou, who is often seen in various states of undress, “I wanted to find the person behind the character, and not the easy way of just playing the character as the girl who likes to [have sex] a lot.” Read in full

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH PHILIPPINE INQUIRER
Philippine Inquirer Kristen Stewart, in a short, bright-colored dress, was a welcome sight in the centuries-old Arundel Castle in West Sussex, UK. She did a few cool dance moves before sitting down for this recent interview.
We thought that was a good sign—the usually shy actress shimmying, looking very modern in orange and blue, inside a castle that was founded in 1067 and rebuilt between the 1870s and 1890s. In our previous interview with Kristen, she had indeed appeared confident. But we would see soon enough that Kristen was back to being shy. Maybe it was because the grand, massive interiors didn’t exactly invite cozy, assured talk. The setting was in keeping with the movie she was promoting—“Snow White and the Huntsman,” the directorial debut of Rupert Sanders. In this second movie to be released about that fairy tale this year, Rupert benefits from the casting of Kristen and Chris Hemsworth in the title roles, and Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna.
The interview did not lack for some amusing moments. The famous phrase in the Snow White tale, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all,” prompted questions about Kristen’s “relationship with the mirror.” “I feel good when I look in the mirror,” she said in mock seriousness.
Commercial
Beauty routine? “I do wash my face,” she deadpanned. Her secret? “I use Proactiv,” she quipped in a TV commercial voice and tone. “It keeps my skin so clean. It helped my skin so much when I was growing up. If you ever have acne, young lady, buy some Proactiv.”
In separate interviews, both Charlize and Chris told us that what struck them most about Kristen was her pure, obvious love for acting. “I started wanting to act in movies because I wanted a job on a set,” explained Kristen, whose mom is a script supervisor. Her dad is a TV producer. She added: “My parents did it and I thought it was cool. It was so cool that I was getting to talk in rehearsal with the director and the other actors. I was observing for a long time even though I was really young. Suddenly, I was part of it. I was reveling in that, having a good time and not thinking about it too much. A few projects changed my mind about it.” She became a full-fledged actress.

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH LOS40.COM
RobstenDreams Translation via fiercebitchstew
Los40.com Hi Kristen, What do you like most about Spain? And do you see yourself living here?
Madrid is my favorite city, but i've spent little time here. I don't know how it would be to live here permanently. Last time i was here i didn't sleep for 2 days. But it wasn't because I was a bad girl. This city is contagious.
Who do you identify more with Bella Swan or Snow White?
They asked me that the other day and its hard to say but, i think i have some of both. They're both great girls.
What is your favorite number, color and song?
Hi, my favorite number is 8. I have various favorite colors. Right now my favorite color is red. I can listen to the same song over and over for months at a time, right now its 'Towers', by Bon Iver
KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH THE GUARDIANUK
Scans Lovjy @kstewartfans
TheGuardianUK After a year of unsuccessful auditions, the nine-year-old Kristen Stewart told her mother she wanted to pack it all in. It hadn't been her ambition to act; she had wanted to be an archaeologist. But she lived in Los Angeles, where an agent saw her sing in a school play aged eight, and so inevitably the notion was put to her. She was interested initially. Her parents were crew members, and she had spent time on film sets where there was a feeling that: "we were all in this together, and we were making something worthwhile". She takes one of many deep, meaningful breaths. "And then I would see a kid walk around and people would be like: 'Shhh, that's the actor, don't talk to him.' And I was like, I want a job, I want you guys to talk to me like I matter!"
It's not surprising Stewart wasn't tying down all those roles. I can't imagine her having made a convincing child star in the twinkling insincerity and too many teeth mould. She's just so socially awkward. She bounds into the hotel room, in her Led Zeppelin T-shirt and black jeans, clasping a glass of milk, and rather than sitting opposite me, she perches on the next chair, so close I have to check our knees aren't touching.
Great read - new quotes. More ahead.

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH VIVA PRESS
VivaPress ANAHEIM/LOS ANGELES – The Kristen Stewart parade marches on. The sensationally gifted Twilight actress raises her game to even greater heights in her new film, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, which is a revisionist retelling of the classic fairytale. Stewart soars as Snow White, investing the porcelain princess with a feral charm and dark gravitas that goes well beyond anything in Bella’s imagination.
Though she seems to have been part of our cultural fabric for ages, Stewart has only just turned 22. She’s still massively uncomfortable with her celebrity and is undoubtedly the most nervous interview subject one could conjure, but in front of the cameras she disappears into her performance with the seamless grace that only the finest actresses can achieve. Away from the comforts of the film sets on which she grew up thanks to her mother’s job as a Hollywood set decorator, Stewart reverts to her twitching, fidgeting, hesitant, and relentlessly self-conscious persona, so much so that she struggles to deliver a convincing portrait of her own true self. Still, the pixie-ish actress with the alabaster complexion and chronic tendency to recalibrate her every thought does offer plenty of insight into her bubble-like existence.
“I like to play characters that I can draw from in my own life,” Stewart observes. “I’ve invested so much of my life into my work that I almost don’t have any choice. It’s interesting how you can blur the line between acting and living and learn from your performances. I’m just trying to keep learning as much as I can and not get caught up in all the distractions that can play havoc with your mind.”

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH HELLOGIGGLES
You can read the awesome full interview on here. Via kstewartnews
What was it about this version of Snow White that drew you in?
“It’s funny, it really didn’t have anything to do with Snow White one way or the other. I’m not just inherently rebellious; I didn’t JUST want to do it because it was different from what you thought Snow White would do. If you read the seven page Grimm story, it really is… And anyone who is going to do a full length movie and completely elaborate on it, its like this is just a different take on it. We needed to find the ‘why’s of everything. The character, for whatever reason, felt so real to me and in a world that is so unbelievable, that is kind of an exceptional thing. I just wanted to so badly join the cause, more than anything, and I just believed in it.”
Do you ever read the comments and reviews about your movies and the things you do?
“Yeah, totally. I don’t take it to heart because I remember experiences in my head a certain way and I value them so much, and I would never do them differently. Massive response is always weird. Usually things don’t matter, usually when you talk to people during interviews, things fill up in my head and I get nervous. But I am the type of person who needs to know exactly what is going on in their life ‘cos I’m a weirdo… and I need to know everything.”

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH RED CARPET NEWS. TALKS ABOUT ROB'S BIRTHDAY
RedCarpetNewsTV Did you have any hesitation about taking on such an iconic role?
Kristen: At first I was kind of surprised I was doing Breaking Dawn at the time. I didn’t want to focus on anything else I didn’t want to read anything. They were pushing this new project that was such a big opportunity and it was Snow White. I was like really? You really think that’s such a good idea. Then I came to realise very quickly that it was just such a new modern way of presenting someone now who is an ideal woman and kind of like someone who does more now than clean house and chirp at her birds.
(...)Rob just had his birthday what did you do to celebrate?
Kristen: Well I wished him a very happy birthday of course… and there were some presents yeah!
Why do you think the time’s right for this version of Snow White?
Kristen: I think Snow White is a great story to tell now because what we know her to do is she cleans out and chirps at the birds and all that. But you know times have changed ad if you’re going to tell the fairy tale now and make it effective you need to put her in a really dangerous world and see if she can survive and I think we do a pretty good job of doing that.
